Mahindra eKUV 100

Mahindra E KUV 100 was showcased at an auto expo in the year 2020 with an estimated launch of the same year but still not available in the Indian market. According to sources, the launch was delayed due to COVID-19, or maybe be company is still making changes to this model. The E KUV 100 looks very similar to the KUV 100 as the branding also remains the same at some corners. It is designed with blue color markings all over the body. 

Front side, A grille space is changed from center to bottom for electric motor cooling and there you can see the e Kuv 100 branding placed. Talking about the battery, it is equipped with 15kWh which gives a range of 147kms. The starting price of Mahindra E KUV 100 is around 8.25 lakhs rupees and it can be launched in 2024.

Maruti WagonR Electric

Expected Price: 8-10 lakhs

Expected Launch Date: 2026

Maruti Suzuki WagonR has been a family car in India or maybe internationally also. As the era is changing, Maruti also planning to launch its vehicle in the electric segment. So, they are going to make an electric version of Wagonr. Since many years Maruti Suzuki WagonR was spotted on roads while testing. As of now, not much information is leaked including the correct image. But, you expect to launch this upcoming car in India by 2026. The expected price of Wagnor Electric will be around 8.5 lakhs. when it comes to battery life, it will last up to 200km according to leaks. 

Vayve Mobility Eva

Vayve Mobility Eva is India's first solar EV car yet to be launched in approximately March 2024. As per the company's claim, from its optional solar roof, you can get a 10km free range. Apart from that, it runs up to 250km with a 14 kWh battery pack. A battery supports both DC and AC charging options. With AC power which usually comes in homes, it takes 4 hours to charge completely. Other side, with CCS2, it charges 80% in only 45 minutes. Vayve Mobility Eva's price in India will be around 7 lakh rupees. 

ORA R1

From Great Wall Motors Company, the ORA R1 EV is going to be introduced in the Indian market very soon. I am not sure about its launch date in India but the price segment will be around 8 lakh rupees. It was shown at Auto Expo 2020, and as of now almost three years passed, So maybe we will see this EV car in India under 10 lakhs rupees very soon. one unique thing I observed is the charging ports which are located behind the logo of the company on the front side. A small portion will open when you push on the logo icon and there are both fast and home socket chargers are equipped. 

Renault Zoe

Renault Zoe is another upcoming EV car under 10 lakhs showcased at Auto Expo 2020. Still, has not been launched in India but you can expect it to be in Indian car showrooms soon. The price and launch date are not confirmed yet for India. From the exterior view, it looks like a petrol or diesel-engine car. However, it has a premium look from the front and side profile. Renault Zoe is packed with a 50kWh battery which can last up to 380kms after a full charge. You will see two charging options fast and normal at frontside behind the Renault logo. Normally it takes 9 hours and 25 minutes for full charging. 

Mahindra E2o NXT

Expected Launch Date: Nov 2024

Mahindra is adding a new model to its E2o series. After making Mahindra E2o Plus, now it's turn for the Mahindra E2o NXT model. This EV car under 10 lakhs is presented at Auto Expo 2018. An expected launch date is the end of 2024 and the price will be around 7-8 lakhs. As of the auto expo showcase, there are not many changes in this car when compared to the previous model E2o Plus. Some special features include lighting one lined grill and logo, ME plus badging on the side profile, etc. It is equipped with a 19 kW battery that can run up to 140 kilometers on a single charge.
